(通讯员:代萦萦)6月12日上午,新加坡国立大学英语语言交流中心负责人LEE Kooi Cheng,教学、学习与科技中心负责人SOO Yuen Jien一行到访WilliamHILL中国。双方于william威廉中文四楼会议室召开交流座谈会,会议由国际交流与合作处处长沈友青主持。国际交流与合作处、计算机与人工智能学院主要负责人,william威廉中文领导班子及教师代表共同参会。

座谈会上,沈友青对代表团的来访表示热烈欢迎,简要介绍了我校的办学历史、学科特色、人才培养成效及国际交流开展情况。随后计算机与人工智能学院、william威廉中文相关负责人依次介绍了各自学院的学科建设与专业发展情况。双方围绕学生联合培养、师生互访交流、学术科研协作等方向展开深入交流探讨。

新方代表团对我校办学实力、育人理念与建设成果给予高度评价,同时对校方的热情接待表示感谢。代表团表示,两校在部分学科契合度高、合作潜力大,新加坡国立大学将依托自身在语言交流、智慧教学平台等领域的优势,与我校携手探索常态化、深层次合作机制,全力推动各项合作事宜落地生根、取得实效。

会后,代表团一行先后走访参观了william威廉中文专业实验室、教师教育研究与实践中心、教育数字化发展中心,实地考察我校教学设施与办学条件。


据了解,新加坡国立大学为顶尖公立研究型高校,在2026年QS世界大学排名中位列全球第8、亚洲榜首。该校是环太平洋大学联盟、亚洲大学联盟、Universitas 21等多个国际知名高校联盟成员,其商学院更是斩获AACSB、EQUIS两项国际顶级商科认证,综合办学实力享誉全球。
此次交流访问搭建起两校沟通的坚实桥梁,进一步拉近了双方的合作距离。未来,我校将持续深化国际交流合作,积极借鉴境外优质教育资源与办学经验,不断拓宽师生国际化发展平台,以多元合作助力学校办学水平与人才培养质量稳步提升。(图片:鲁维佳)
National University of Singapore Delegation Visits Our University
(By Correspondent: Dai Yingying) On the morning of June 12, Associate Professor LEE Kooi Cheng, Head of the Centre for English Language Communication at the National University of Singapore (NUS), and Associate Professor SOO Yuen Jien, Head of the Centre for Development of Teaching and Learning, visited Hubei University of Education. The two sides held a symposium in the fourth-floor conference room of the School of Foreign Languages, which was chaired by Shen Youqing, Director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation. Principal officials from the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation and the School of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, as well as the leadership team and faculty representatives of the School of Foreign Languages, attended the meeting.
At the symposium, Shen Youqing extended a warm welcome to the delegation and briefly introduced the university’s history, disciplinary features, talent cultivation achievements, and the development of its international exchanges. Subsequently, relevant leaders from the School of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence and the School of Foreign Languages successively presented the disciplinary development and professional progress of their respective schools. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges on directions such as joint student cultivation, mutual visits and exchanges for faculty and students, and academic and scientific research collaboration.
The NUS delegation spoke highly of our university’s educational strength, nurturing philosophy, and development achievements, while also expressing gratitude for the warm hospitality. The delegation noted the high degree of alignment and significant cooperation potential between the two universities in certain disciplines. They stated that NUS would leverage its strengths in areas such as language communication and smart teaching platforms to join hands with our university in exploring normalized, deep-level cooperation mechanisms, fully committed to ensuring that various cooperative initiatives take root and yield tangible results.
After the meeting, the delegation visited the professional laboratories of the School of Foreign Languages, the Teacher Education Research and Practice Center, and the Digital Education Development Center, and they were very impressed by our university’s teaching facilities and educational conditions.
The National University of Singapore is a top-tier public research university, ranked 8th globally and 1st in Asia in the 2026 QS World University Rankings. The university is a member of several prestigious international university alliances, including the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU), the Asian Universities Alliance (AUA), and Universitas 21. Furthermore, its business school has secured both AACSB and EQUIS, the two top international accreditations for business education, earning its comprehensive educational strength global acclaim.
This exchange and visit have built a solid bridge for communication between the two universities and further narrowed the distance for cooperation. Moving forward, our university will continue to deepen international exchange and cooperation, actively draw upon high-quality overseas educational resources and institutional experience, and continuously broaden the platform for the international development of faculty and students, thereby steadily enhancing the university’s educational standards and talent cultivation quality through diverse collaborations.
